CASL Consent

Last updated: [INSERT DATE]

Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requires us to be clear about what messages we send you, why, and how you can stop them. This page explains the consent you give us when you submit an application or otherwise opt in to hear from Milestone Fleet.

1. What you're consenting to

When you check the consent box on our application form, when you initiate a conversation with us by phone, text, WhatsApp, or email, or when you otherwise expressly opt in to hear from us, you are giving us your express consent to send you commercial electronic messages (CEMs) about Milestone Fleet's lease-to-own vehicle program.

These messages may include:

2. How we'll contact you

We may use any of the channels you provide when you apply: phone, text (SMS), WhatsApp, or email. We use the contact details you supply on the form, and our messages will always identify Milestone Fleet as the sender and include the contact information at the bottom of this page.

3. Implied consent

CASL also recognizes implied consent in some cases — for example, if you have an existing business relationship with us (such as an active rental in the past 24 months), or if you have published your business contact information publicly without a "no spam" notice and our message relates to your role. In those cases we may contact you for a limited period under CASL's implied-consent rules, but we will still honour any unsubscribe request immediately.

4. How to withdraw consent (unsubscribe)

You can withdraw your consent at any time. There is no penalty and it will not affect any active rental agreement, but it may prevent us from sending you certain non-essential program updates.

We will process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, as CASL requires, though usually much faster.

Note on transactional messages. Even if you unsubscribe from marketing communications, we may still need to send you transactional messages tied to an active rental (such as payment reminders or service notices about your vehicle). These are not commercial electronic messages under CASL and are necessary to deliver the program to you.

5. Sender identification

Under CASL, every commercial electronic message must clearly identify the sender. Our messages are sent by:

Sender on record

Legal nameMilestone Fleet (a subsidiary of GB Capital Group Inc.)
Phone / WhatsApp(260) 750-5100
Service areaGreater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada
Mailing address[INSERT FULL MAILING ADDRESS — required for CASL compliance]

6. Complaints

If you believe we have violated CASL, please first contact us at the details above — we will investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), which enforces CASL.

7. Changes to this consent

We may update this page from time to time. The current version always lives at this URL. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers.
